RIIMPO318F Conduct Civil Construction Skid Steer Loader Operations

This course has been developed for experienced operators and to be delivered in the workplace. It applies operator skills and knowledge for those working in site-based roles required to operate a skid steer loader to load, haul and distribute materials. Skid steer loaders are used across a range of industries including civil construction and the resource sectors.
This course covers the following outcomes:
Loading, carrying and placing materials to complete work activity Selecting, removing, fitting and using attachments or a skid steer loader Preparing to relocate the skid steer loader
Conducting housekeeping activities, including the recycling and disposing of materials. A Statement of Attainment will be issued on successful completion of the unit requirements. This unit alone does not provide sufficient skill to independently load and unload equipment. To perform this activity safely, personnel must either complete or be assisting someone who has completed RIIHAN308F Load and unload plant or equivalent.
There are no mandatory pre-requisites to this unit of competence, but all learners must be 18 years of age or over and had prior practical operator experience.

All learners must be able to read and comprehend English to a level that will enable them to safely conduct work activities. Fulltilt Training (FTT) recognises that some learners may require addition support and are fully prepared to support each learner throughout the course duration. On enrolment, all candidates will complete a short language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) test, which will assist FTT trainers and assessors to determine any support requirements.
