RIIVEH304E Conduct Tip Truck Operations
This course has been developed for experienced operators and to be delivered in the workplace. It applies operator skills and knowledge for those working in site-based roles required to perform tip truck operations.
Tip trucks are used across a range of industries including civil construction and the resource sectors.
This course covers the following outcomes:
- Planning and preparing for articulated haul truck operations
- Planning and preparing for tip truck operations
- Operating the tip truck
- Loading, transporting and tipping materials
- Carrying out operator maintenance
- Conducting housekeeping activities, including the recycling and disposing of materials.
There are no mandatory pre-requisites to this unit of competence, but all learners must be 18 years of age or over and had prior practical operator experience.

- PPC - Steel cap boots, appropriate clothing (ie long sleeve shirt, long pants, hat)

On-site based training and assessing undertaken at our training ground or client premises (upon request), with prior approval of site specific resources, appropriateness of equipment and facilities/training arena.

- Language Literacy and Numeracy (LLN) Requirements
All learners must be able to read and comprehend English to a level that will enable them to safely conduct work activities. Fulltilt Training (FTT) recognises that some learners may require addition support and are fully prepared to support each learner throughout the course duration.
On enrolment, all candidates will complete a short language, literacy and numeracy (LLN) test, which will assist FTT trainers and assessors to determine any support requirements.
